a bit about Barb
Barbara studied Fine Art at Boston University School of Fine Arts and photography and film at The School for the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts.
She has created a unique style for her portraits stemming from years of study in the arts and from her life-long love of documentary photography. She has studied with master photographers Mary Ellen Mark, Eugene Richards and Ernesto Bazan.
Her clients include Stride Rite, Arm and Hammer, Brookstone, Disney, Robeez shoes, Random House & Merck Pharmaceutical as well as People, Oprah and Shape; Hallmark, Palm Press and Avanti Greeting cards.
Her stock imagery is represented by Getty Images and Corbis Images and has been used by Johnson and Johnson, Coca Cola, Volkswagen, Toyota, Pottery Barn, Sun Trust Bank, Bank of America, Time Warner, Panasonic and Kellogg's.
Her personal project 'Faces' is a documentary of her home town that she has been photographing for 20 years.
